We get asked a lot, "Why are digital tv boxes so good for people with hearing impairments?" There are quite a few good reasons: First - you can watch TV with digital captions. These are much better than analogue captions, as they are completely interference free.

Secondly - you can use your digital TV decoder and ANY VCR to record captions onto tapes. You don't need one of those expensive VCR's made in Germany to be able to do this. ANY VCR will work.

Thirdly - you can now get a digital television decoder with built in hard drive that will record captions! Previously, customers had to spend $1,000 or more to get this feature, but we now have new Humax receivers with 160 gig hard drives, and will record more than two days of Digital TV - WITH CAPTIONS!
