Setting up your Topfield

Setting up your Topfield is quite straightforward, follow this guide and you'll be viewing in digital in no time.

When you first boot up the Topfield, you will be faced with the main menu screen.

Use the Down arrow to select Installation.

Press OK and you'll be taken to the installation menu.

The first box is channel search, click OK on this.

The Topfield will now enter the channel search menu.

You want to select auto search mode, and make sure it is searching tuner 1. You can turn the antenna 5V supply on or off as desired.

Use the down arrow to select start search...

Press OK and a new menu will appear with a blank searching box.

The Topfield will now find all the TV stations in your area.

After it has finished, press OK to continue.

You will be taken back to the search menu.

Because the Topfield has two tuners in it, you need to tune in the second tuner.

This is accomplished by moving the cursor up to Tuner Select and pushing the right arrow to select tuner 2.

Now use the down arrow to select start search... and press OK.

The Topfield will repeat the search process for the second tuner and save all the channels just like with the first tuner.

After you have tuned in both tuners, you can watch digital TV and use both tuners at once, eg. for picture in picture or to record something while watching another channel.
